Refund Policy

At Taejoon Private Limited (“we,” “our,” “us”), we are committed to ensuring that you are satisfied with the products and services we offer. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our refund and return policy below to understand your options and the procedures for initiating a refund or return.

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which we will issue refunds, the refund process, and your rights as a consumer.

1. General Refund Policy

We offer a refund or replacement for most of our products, subject to certain conditions. The eligibility for a refund depends on factors such as the condition of the product, the timeframe in which the refund request is made, and the reason for the refund (e.g., defective product, change of mind, incorrect order, etc.).

2. Refund Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund, your request must meet the following criteria:

a. Timeframe for Refund Requests

You must initiate the refund request within 7 Working Days of receiving your product. After this period, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund. The exact timeframe may vary depending on the type of product purchased, and specific rules may apply to items under warranty.

  • Products purchased during promotional periods may have a different return/refund timeframe as specified in the offer details.
  • Custom-designed or personalized products are generally excluded from refunds unless defective or damaged, as outlined below.


b. Condition of the Product

  • Unopened and Unused Products: To qualify for a refund, the product must be in new, unused, and resalable condition with all original packaging and labels intact.
     
  • Opened or Used Products: Items that have been opened, used, or altered in any way may not be eligible for a refund, unless they are defective or damaged.

If the product is defective or damaged upon arrival, please refer to the Damaged or Defective Products section below for instructions on how to handle those cases.

c. Proof of Purchase

To process a refund, you must provide proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation, receipt, or invoice. This is essential for verifying the transaction and ensuring the refund is issued correctly.

d. Non-Refundable Items

Certain products are non-refundable, including:

  • Custom-designed or personalized products (unless defective or damaged).
  • Pre-Order Booking Products

  • Software products, digital downloads, or products where access to downloadable content has already been granted.
  • Open-box or clearance items, unless they are defective.
  • Gift cards, digital products, or subscriptions.

Please refer to product-specific descriptions for any non-refundable or non-returnable items.

3. Refund Process

Once your refund request is approved, we will issue your refund to the original payment method.
Below is a step-by-step guide on how the refund process works:

a. Initiating a Refund Request

1. Contact Us: To initiate a refund, please contact our customer service team at support@taejoon. in with the following information:

  • Order number
  • Your name and contact details
  • Reason for the refund request (e.g., product not as described, damaged, defective, etc.)
  • Photos of the product (if applicable, especially for defective or damaged items)
  • Any additional relevant information

2. Return Authorization: Once we receive your refund request, we will review it and send you a Return Authorization Number (RAN) along with instructions for returning the item (if applicable). You must include the RAN in your return shipment for us to process your request.

b. Returning the Product

If a return is required for the refund to be processed (for example, if the product is not defective but you changed your mind), the following conditions apply:

  • Return Shipping Costs: Unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., defective, damaged, or incorrect items), the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
  • Shipping Method: We recommend using a trackable shipping service to return items to us. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
  • Restocking Fees: In some cases, we may charge a restocking fee for returned items. This will be clearly communicated during the return process.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will proceed with your refund request, provided the product meets our return eligibility criteria.

c. Refund Processing Time

Refunds will be processed within 7-10 Working Days from the day we receive the returned product or from the approval of your refund request if no return is required. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.

  • Credit/Debit Card/Upi Refunds: Refunds to credit or debit cards may take 5-10 business days depending on your bank’s processing times.
  • PayPal or Other Payment Systems: Refunds to PayPal or other third-party payment providers may take up to 10 business days.Please be aware that the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary based on your bank’s or payment processor’s internal procedures.

d. Partial Refunds
If the product is not returned in its original condition, or if there is any damage (other than damage caused during shipping), a partial refund may be issued. If the item is returned with missing parts, damage, or signs of use, the refund will be adjusted accordingly.

4. Damaged or Defective Products
If your product is defective, damaged during shipping, or not as described, please contact us immediately at support@taejoon.in and provide the following details:

  • Order number
  • Product name and description
  • Photographs of the product showing the defect or damage
  • A detailed explanation of the issue

     

Upon receiving your request, we will offer one of the following solutions, depending on your preference and the nature of the issue:

  • Replacement: If the product is defective or damaged, we will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you at no additional charge.
  • Full Refund: If a replacement is not available, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method. Shipping charges will also be refunded if the issue was due to an error on our part.

Note: We may request that you return the damaged or defective item. If the item is returned for a refund or replacement, we will cover the return shipping cost.

5. Refunds for Orders that Have Already Shipped
If an order has already been shipped and is on its way to you, we are unable to cancel it directly. However, once you receive the item, you can return it for a refund in accordance with our Return Policy. If you refuse delivery of the package, it will be returned to us, and a refund will be issued, minus any shipping costs.

6. Shipping Fees and Refunds

Please note the following regarding shipping fees:

  • Shipping Charges: Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return or refund is due to our error (e.g., shipping the wrong item, defective or damaged product).
  • Return Shipping Fees: In most cases, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item. If you are returning an item due to our error, we will cover the cost of return shipping.

7. Exchanges
If you would prefer an exchange instead of a refund (e.g., for a different color or model), please contact us immediately. We will assist you in processing the exchange. Exchanges are subject to product availability, and you will be responsible for any price differences between the original product and the exchanged item.

8. International Orders
If you are returning a product from outside India, you are responsible for the return shipping costs, as well as any customs duties or taxes incurred during the return process. Refunds will be processed in Indian Rupees and may be subject to exchange rate fluctuations.

9. Changes to This Refund Policy
We reserve the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page will be revised. We encourage you to review this Refund Policy periodically to stay informed about any updates or changes.
